Gulfood 2021, key results
Gulfood 2021 has come to an end. Once again the event proved to be successful and a must-attend in the annual calendar of anybody and any entity involved in the food business worldwide. Exhibitors from 85 countries have the opportunity to meet up with buyers and attendees from 156 countries.
This year, Ovostar has presented our latest product range LIQUID EGG PRODUCTS OVOSTAR ( Pure Pak ). The product range was awarded by the Gulfood Innovation contest. The liquid eggs are presented in a well-designed, eco-friendly carton packaging offering a practical and safe solution for the professional kitchens in the foodservice sector. All products offer the same taste, functionality, and consistency as fresh eggs. Products are thoroughly homogenized and pasteurized. Key advantages are no risk of contamination, longer shelf life, waste-free and convenience for storage due to the compactness of the product.
Gulfood Innovation contest is an annual event where exhibitors might present their new product solutions, launches, tastes, designs, and other food and beverage innovations. The judging panel consists of a diverse profile of handpicked F&B supply-chain professionals. This year awards were announced for such categories as beverages, dairy, baked, organic, meat or poultry, frozen and chilled products. The organizers have dedicated special nominations for Halal products, and innovations that affected food security, health and wellness, and sustainability.
In addition to category relevance to the criteria the judging of the nominations are based on:

- Efficiency / Cost Reduction
- Health & Environment
Despite long-lasting COVID-19 restrictions, a lot of Ovostar’s clients from the Middle East & Africa have taken this opportunity to meet with us at the event and discuss business plans during the show.
