Egg products by OVOSTAR comply with HALAL standards

The egg processing plant OVOSTAR passed an annual audit to get the certification of production for compliance with the canons of Islam. As a result of the audit the plant OVOSTAR received a HALAL certificate for all egg products produced at the plant.

The HALAL certificate guarantees that pork or its part processed or hormones are not used as the components of the products, and it also confirms compliance with the HALAL norms regarding work staff, working clothes, industrial premises, and packaging.

Today, the global turnover of HALAL products is about 4 trillion US dollars with an annual increase of more than 20%. The share of products marked HALAL is about 25% of the total number of products on the world market. The number of HALAL food consumers is about 1.8 billion.
