Group operational structure:

Ovostar’s key production units are integrated into a unified system that ensures production stability and supply reliability.

Feed Mills

Two feed mills with a combined production capacity of 56 tonnes of feed per hour supply the needs of our own poultry operations.

In-house feed production allows us to control the composition and quality of poultry diets at every stage of the birds’ lifecycle. Our feed formulations feature a high proportion of grains and plant-based ingredients.

All raw materials undergo rigorous selection in accordance with our internal quality standards.

Our feed production contains no GMOs, antibiotics, growth hormones or animal-derived proteins.

Parent Stock

Our parent stock of 80,000 birds produces more than 10 million hatching eggs annually.

Our own parent stock is an important part of OVOSTAR’s vertically integrated production system. It ensures a reliable in-house supply of hatching eggs for the production of young birds. The facility is located in the Kyiv region.

Hatchery

The hatchery has a capacity of up to 5 million young birds per year, with around 10 million eggs incubated annually.

The hatchery supplies young birds for the development and replenishment of our production flocks. Modern equipment and carefully controlled incubation conditions support optimal embryo development and the production of healthy young birds.

Pullet Rearing Farms

2 specialized farms with a combined capacity of 1.8 million bird places rear young birds for the development of our production flocks.

After hatching, young birds are transferred to specialized rearing farms, where controlled housing conditions support healthy growth and development until they reach the production stage.

Poultry farms

Two poultry farms produce over 5 million eggs daily.

After collection, the eggs undergo automated sorting and packaging. Some of the output is supplied as shell eggs, while 2 million eggs are sent daily for the production of liquid and dried egg products.

Egg Products Processing Plant

The OVOSTAR plant is a specialized processing facility for fresh eggs and the production of liquid and dry egg products.

Fresh eggs from our own poultry farms are delivered directly to the plant for processing, where they undergo separation, pasteurization, fermentation or drying, depending on the product. This integrated model gives us control over key stages of the process — from egg production to the finished egg product.

OVOSTAR products are used by food manufacturers, retailers and HoReCa operators in Ukraine and supplied to partners in more than 50 countries worldwide.

Trading & Distribution Company

More than one-third of OVOSTAR’s products are exported to more than 50 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa.

Our international distribution infrastructure enables reliable and efficient deliveries to partners worldwide. Our warehouse in Latvia supports logistics for European customers and strengthens our presence in the EU market. Our UAE office supports partnerships across the Middle East and other international markets.

History

Ovostar Union’s vertically integrated production encompasses all processes, from feed manufacturing to an extensive sales and distribution network.

OVOSTAR was the first in Ukraine to introduce a product in the ready-to-cook category: a boiled, peeled egg. This new format targets the HoReCa sector, catering services, and ready-meal manufacturers.

Despite the full-scale invasion, the company continued production and product supply. Following the de-occupation of the Kyiv region, operations at the damaged production facilities were restored.

OVOSTAR’s line of liquid egg products in Pure-Pak packaging received a Gulfood Innovation Award. The production facilities achieved FSSC 22000 v.5.1 certification, and the Ovostar plant confirmed its compliance with Kosher requirements.

The company was the first among major Ukrainian producers to launch sales of free-range eggs. Liquid egg products in 500g Pure-Pak consumer packaging were introduced to the Ukrainian market.

The supply network spanned 55 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Africa.

A trade representative office was opened in Dubai, UAE. Production capacity at the Stavyshche site was expanded, and a MOBA Omnia PX700 sorting line with a capacity of 252,000 eggs per hour was installed.

Approval has been obtained to export Class A eggs to the EU. The company was the first in Ukraine to begin producing fermented, heat-stable egg yolk.

Ovostar Europe has opened a sales office in Latvia, strengthening the company's presence in the European market.

The export of egg products to European Union countries has begun.

The Ovostar plant has received FSSC 22000 certification. Processing capacity has been increased to 2 million eggs per day, and compound feed production capacity to 56 tonnes per hour.

A large-scale investment program and comprehensive production modernization have been completed, enabling production capacity to be nearly doubled.

The holding company Ovostar Union N.V. was established. On June 29, the Group's shares were listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

The export of OVOSTAR products to international markets began, marking the start of the company's international expansion.

Production of egg products under the OVOSTAR brand has commenced.
